The Secret – Rhonda Byrne
The best way to describe ‘The Secret‘ by Rhonda Byrne is that it is a self help book which tries to answer the age old question what is the secret to happiness? Byrne, along with many other professors and motivational speakers try to answer this question in the best way they can. They include John Assaraf, Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith, Lee Brower, Jack Canfield, Dr. John F Demartini, Marie Diamond, Mike Dooley, Bob Doyle, Hale Dwoskin, Morris Goodman, Dr. John Gray, Dr. John Hagelin, Bill Harris, Dr. Ben Johnson, Loral Langemeier, Lisa Nichols, Bob Proctor, James Arthur Ray, David Schirmer, Marci Shimoff, Dr. Joe Vitale, Dr. Denis Waitley, Neale Donald Walsch and Fred Alan Wolf.
According to these great thinkers ‘the secret‘ (in a nut shell) is to think positively, become a magnet for the goal you desire and use the law of attraction to pull your dreams closer to a reality. I’m not entirely certain this promise will definitely be delivered but it gives the reader a massive amount of hope, which can never be a bad thing.
There is a definite uplifting feel to this book as it contains many promises of happiness and a fast track to their dreams and riches. It is mainly because of this that it works so well in audio book format. Most of it is narrated by the primary author Rhonda Byrne so you get a real feel of the books message and her evident enthusiasm for it. The rest of the book is narrated by the other featured motivational speakers, and this also works very well.
This audio book is definitely worth a listen as I feel it would be up lifting for anyone, whether you are into self-help books or not.
The Secret audio book (4 hours and 25 minutes in duration) is available to download now to your iPod, Mp3 Player, Computer or CD. ![]()
