Dara O’Briain Live at the Theatre Royal
Dara O’Briains ‘Live at the Theatre Royal’ marks the big finale in his hugely successful sell out tour. His performance is recorded live to an impressive crowd of 2,500 fans. As a big fan of Dara O’Briain I was really rooting for him to do well and I am delighted to say I was not disappointed! His humor is delightfully dry and quick witted and he gives one of his best performances to date talking about unlikely subjects such as The Milky Bar Kid, driving tests and baguettes!
I have always thought that stand up comedy translates very well to an audio book format, and I can quite happily waste a couple of hours listening to great comedians such as Russell Brand and Ricky Gervais. Dara Obrian’s ‘Live at the Theatre Royal’ has now been added to my collection of my favourite comics to listen to. The way he tells his stories and jokes, you feel as though you are there watching him live. Being an Irish man living in England gives him a chance to make some humorous comparisons and observations which the audience clearly loves. There is not much physical comedy that is missed out on either as his style is very much based around his fantastically funny story telling and his basic descriptive language. This audio version of ‘Dara O’Briain – Live at the Theatre Royal’ is definitely worth downloading (it is available to download from ‘Audible’) especially if you enjoy great comedy and can appreciate Daras unique style of stand up.
Dara O’Briain Live at the Theatre Royal audio book (1 hour and 28 minutes in duration) is available to download now to your iPod, Mp3 Player, Computer or CD. ![]()
